Welcome to the page for the 3rd annual Scripps Student Symposium (S3)!
- Date: Wednesday, September 21st, 2016
- Where: Scripps Seaside Forum
- Cost: Free!
The goal of S3 is to provide a platform for Scripps graduate students to present and discuss their research with colleagues from all curricular groups, to foster interdisciplinary collaboration amongst the student population, and to introduce the new first-years to the wide variety of research Scripps has to offer. The presentations should be designed to be understandable not just to specific fields, but to the broader Scripps community.
During this one-day conference, we'll have 3 oral sessions as well as poster sessions, breaks with refreshments, lunch, and a happy hour. There will be cash prizes for outstanding talks and posters, so consider presenting! The sessions are all designed to be interdisciplinary, so they'll be of interest to everyone.
Please consider presenting, or even just attending this conference! All students (undergraduate and graduate) as well as postdocs are encouraged to present, and all members of the Scripps community are encouraged to attend.
Registration is closed. All members of the SIO community are invited to attend S3 2017! Stay tuned for more information about registering for the conference and abstract submission!
